Criminal Rehabilitation

Individuals who have criminal inadmissibility are not allowed to enter or remain in Canada. A Criminal Rehabilitation application allows persons to remove their criminal inadmissibility from their immigration record. Once approved, the individual can enter or remain Canada and apply for any permanent or temporary applications as long as they do not commit further criminality. Further criminality would cause individuals to be once again inadmissible, and they would need another criminal rehabilitation applicable.

Criminal Rehabilitation applications are for persons who have committed criminality outside Canada. Persons who have a criminal record in Canada can apply through the Parole Board of Canada for a Record Suspension.
